The Law of Karma

The Law of Karma is very simple to understand and has been taught for thousand of years.

In Buddhist teaching, the law of karma says that “for every event that occurs, there will follow another event whose existence was caused by the first, and this second event will be pleasant or unpleasant according as its cause was skillful or unskillful”.

In short, there is a cause for every effect and every effect has a cause.

Examples:

- You intentionally caused harm, pain, injury to another person; the Law of Karma will make you experience the same pain or worse.

- You provided unconditionally love, help to another person, the Law of Karma will make you experience the same love or greater.

I highlighted the words intentionally and unconditionally because it is important to understand their meanings. For instance, if you caused pain, harm, injury to a person but you did not do it intentionally, the Law of Karma will not make you experience the same pain. You will likely feel sad due to the result of your action. If you are helping someone to expect something in return, then your action is not unconditional and the Law of Karma will not apply to you either.

People that have the same Karma attract each other in short, like attract like. Do not mistaken bad things that are happening to you and challenges. It is very often difficult to make the difference between bad things and challenges but if you become aware of your own behavior you will be able to distinguish them. Challenges are meant for you to grow and bad things are simply the result of your actions.

In addition, if you are like me believing in reincarnation then you need to know that Karma follows you from one life to another. Let me clarify this before you interpret it the wrong way: for example, just because you are born disabled or with a disease it does not mean that you did something wrong in you’re past life. The people who have these challenges may have chosen this in their soul plan for their own spiritual growth.

The Law of Karma is pretty straightforward and so logical that it should be implemented to any institutions of every single country :)

What is Déjà vu?

At a very young age I experienced a lot of Déjà vu and was quite perplex about not knowing what it was all about. Was my mind playing tricks on me? Is it a precognition or prophecy? Back then, I had done some research and found scientific explanations of this phenomenon but it didn’t feel quite right with me. I am going to share with you what the scientific researches say about Déjà vu and what Déjà vu means according to spiritualists.

First of all Déjà vu is a French word meaning, “ already seen”.

Scientific research basically says that Déjà vu is a memory anomaly giving the impression that an experience is being recalled. Another theory suggests that one eye may record what is seen fractionally faster than the other creating the “strong recollection” sensation upon the same scene being viewed milliseconds later by the opposite eye.

At first I was ok with the scientific explanations, I even remembered my optometrist telling me that I have to wear glasses because one of my eye was a “lazy eye” and I was thinking about the above statement which made sense to me. It made  sense until my Déjà vu became more and more vivid involving sound and touch. That being said the theory suggested of having an eye recording faster than the other did not make sense anymore. So I read quite a few books and found some very interesting explanations that started to make sense to me:

The first explanation I read about was that, Déjà vu is the result of Past lives that emerged in your present life. The problem that I have with this explanation is that it is based on faith and you cannot prove it. I am the kind of guy that needs proof no matter how open-minded I am.  I was not satisfied with this explanation but I kept it in mind.

The second explanation I read was that Déjà vu is a precognition. So I did a test that I strongly recommend you to do. When you have a vivid dream  the first thing you should  do when you wake up is to write it down or/and tell someone your dream with all details that you have experienced.  This will help you to ensure that when the Déjà vu happens, you can confirm with yourself that you did not make it up, as suggested by scientists. I usually dream about my Déjà vu about a week before it happens so it is important to tell someone or to write it down so you don’t forget about it. Because your ego can easily tell you that you just made it up and the test will be useless. My test was conclusive. My vivid dreams happened for real, the same way I dreamt it.  I was so exited about it. But then I realized that my “precognitions” were not that meaningful. I guess I was expecting something more meaningful that  would’ve of shown me signs of something greater. Well, I realized afterwards if I am able to be aware of my Déjà vu this was a huge step forward. All Déjà vu are meaningful and you need to take the time to understand them.

Because at times I wasn’t fully satisfied with what I learned about all Déjà vu phenomenon, I investigated deeper about it and found additional explanations that caught my attention.  I read a book about Spiritual Chart; by definition it is a Chart/Soul plan that was created before you are born. The spiritual chart will involve challenges that will map out your spiritual journey for your own spiritual growth. The book stated that the Déjà vu phenomenon is simply a checkpoint in your spiritual journey for you to know that you are in the right path. That being said Déjà vu does not have to be meaningful.

If you haven’t got Déjà vu for a long time and may think that you never have experience one. It does not mean that you are not in the right path. You are exactly were you are supposed to be for the decisions you have taken. There are so many ways to be guided and reinsured, through spiritual readings for instance.

In conclusion I am satisfied with the checkpoint explanation and validation of my Déjà vu phenomenon.

What is Astro travel?

I have experienced myself 3 Astro Travels also known as Astral Projection that I can clearly remember. I only acknowledged them after reading a book about it a few years ago. I am going to share with you my Astro Travel experiences and a method that will help you to experience one.

Let’s get started with the definition: Astro Travel, also known as Astral Projection, is the process in which the spirit, or etheric body, separates from the physical body to travel in a dimension called the astral plane. This can be done deliberately or it can happen spontaneously while a person sleeps. Travelers may find themselves in a world very similar to what they are used to or in an abstract world.

I am sure I had more than 3 Astro Travels, but at the time I assumed that they were just dreams. I remember my last Astro Travels like it was yesterday. They were so intense and real that when I woke up I was freaked out. The books I read about this subject explain in detail the sensations you will likely experience while reliving an Astro Travel. You can imagine how relived I was when I read about the same sensations that I had experienced.

The 3 Astro Travel experiences that I can remember happened spontaneously and happened to me during daytime naps when I was extremely tired. I was always alone when it happened and the room was dead quite. I noted about 4 major stages that I went through while I experienced my Astro Travel:

- Stage 1, I felt very heavy and a sensation of sinking into my bed adding a light sensation of drowsiness.

- Stage2, I felt the sensation of drowsiness to be very strong making me feel that my body was paralyzed.  I felt very uncomfortable, not in control and my heartbeat started rising.

- Stage 3, the sensation of heaviness switched in a second from heavy to extremely light. I really felt that my spirit was detaching from my physical body and I was floating few inches away from my physical body. I felt fear in that moment.
- Stage 4, my fears woke me up promptly and slowly I recovered, my heartbeat was stable again. I told myself at the time that it was a nightmare.

After reading a few books about Astro travel I realized that they are not nightmares, that the above sensations are totally normal and transitory until you can control them.  Once acknowledged and controlled, Astro travel will help you to meet your guides, love ones, develop your meduimship and much more. It was mentioned on these books that you could even visit (Astro Travel) people that are in the living no matter which country they live in. To prove it, they set up an experiment where 2 people that don’t know each other from 2 different countries are part of this experiment. One of the 2, had numerous Astro Travel experiences and claimed that he could do it.  All he asked for was a photo of this person to “visit” him via Astro travel.  At the end of this experiment the person that Astro travelled, explained in detail all the objects in the bedroom of the other person that lived in the opposite side of the world. Beside the spiritual explanation nobody has been able to prove it scientifically.

My ultimate goal is to stay as long as I can on stage 3 and control my fears caused by the uncomfortable sensations experienced during my Astro Travel. Below is a method that you may want try out to experience Astro Travel.

The Monroe Method of Astro Travel:

1-Find a quiet place for your astro travel, preferably a place in which you will not be disturbed. You may need something to keep your body warm, like a comforter.

2-Be sure that your clothing is comfortable. You may want to take off your glasses, if you wear them, and shoes.

3-Sit in a comfortable chair or lie down.

4-Relax. Mentally check your body for tense areas and consciously release the tension. Inhale and exhale slowly to help your body relax.

5-Try to reach a sleepy state, also called the hypnogogic state. One way to do this is to focus on an image, like a flickering candle flame. If other images begin to appear in your mind then you are in a hypnogogic state.

6-Take this state to a deeper level called “condition B.” Observe the space in front of your closed eyelids. You may suddenly see light patterns. When they disappear you are in condition B.

7-Deepen condition B to “condition C.” In condition C, you lose awareness of your body and any sensory stimulation.

8-Experience a state of vibrations. With a deeper experience of condition C, you will get to “condition D” in which your body begins to tingle then vibrate. This is a sign that you are ready to astro travel.

9-Practice releasing a part of your etheric body, like your hand. While focusing on leaving your body, lift your etheric hand towards a close object and push it through. Return your etheric hand to your physical hand.

10-Separate your etheric body from your physical body. You can try to “lift out” of your body by imagining yourself getting lighter, or you can “roll out,” as if rolling out of bed. When you find yourself out of your physical body, you can move around by just thinking about where you want to go.

11-Learn more about astro travel by reading “Mastering Astral Projection: 90-day Guide to Out-Of-Body Experience” by Robert Bruce (see Resources below).

I recommend looking at breathing and meditation technique’s that will help you to achieve your goals. Keep in mind that it takes a lot of practice and results vary depending on individuals.

What is Psychometry?

By definition, Psychometry is the ability to sense or “read” the history of an object, usually jewelry or clothing, by holding it in the hands or pressing it against the forehead (Third eye).

The impressions that the person holding the object receives are usually images, thoughts, sounds, smells, tastes and emotions. All these impressions are part of the clairvoyance that will explain in detail in my next articles.

Everybody can do it and here are very easy exercises to practice Psychometry and develop your clairvoyance:

Prior to starting these exercises I will recommend meditating in order to ground your self and have better results. The exercises should take place in a quiet place. Of course the person trying to sense/“read” the object has no connection with the object he /she is holding and does not know the history.

Exercise 1 (need minimum 2 people)

1-Now you are relax, close your eyes and ask the other person to place the object in your hand. Do not open your eyes.
2-Now you have the object in your hand and when you are ready, describe to the other person what you see, feel, taste, smell etc. The other person can write down your answers. When done, open your eyes.
3-You can repeat this exercise as many times as you want.

It is highly recommended that the other person knows the origin of the objects to be able to see how accurate your impressions were.

Exercise 2 (need minimum 2 people but recommended to be 6 to 8 )

1-One person will host this exercise. The host will use 6 envelopes were he will seal only one picture in each envelop. These pictures can be taken from magazines, news etc, but make sure that they are diversified. The host will mark the envelopes from 1 to 6 and will describe each single picture in a block note with their respective numbers. The host will be the only one to know the origin of these pictures and the guests cannot see the block note.
2-The host will provide to each guest a piece of paper where the numbers from 1 to 6 will be written down.
3-When the guests are relax, the host will provide the envelops to the guests and let them hold one envelop at the time, write down their impressions, pictures, smells, tastes etc and pass it on to the next guest until they have all of them.
4-When done, the host will ask one guest at the time to describe their impressions about number 1. Then the host will ask one guest at the time to describe their impressions about number 2 and so on till number 6.
5-When done, the host will provide the answers by opening one envelop at the time for the guest to see how accurate were their answers.

It is recommended that the host monitor how long each guest spent with an envelope. The first impression is very likely to be the right one. Thinking too much will involve your ego that tries to guess and that is not clairvoyance. Also, I found that more than 10 people could make the exercise to long and the guest will get exhausted.

I have done exercise 2 several times and it is a lot fun. All guests were very surprised how accurate their answers were.

What is Clairvoyance?

The word Clairvoyance is derived from the French, clair meaning “ clear” and voyance meaning “vision”. Literally Clairvoyance means “clear vision” that every medium’s aim to develop and masters.

By definition Clairvoyance is the ability to perceive objects, physical events, persons or images beyond our 5 natural senses.

Clairvoyance can be experienced in a normal state, in sleep, during meditation or trance, by the use of drugs, fasting or illness.

Main types of Clairvoyance:

-Clairsentience (Felling/Touch)
The power to touch an object or a person and acquire knowledge from the “ energy” surrounding that person or thing.

-Clairaudience (Hearing/Listening)
The ability to hear things such as voices, music and sounds, which are beyond the range of the power of hearing.

-Clairalience (Smelling)
The ability to smell things that have no apparent physical source.

-Clairgustance (Tasting)
Being aware of tastes without physically putting anything in the mouth. Basically Clairgustance is the ability to tast with your psychic rather than the physical senses.

-Claircognizance (Knowing)
Having knowledge of certain places, people, or situations without possessing the necessary information to know , e.i. without seeing, hearing or feeling it.

Here is an exercise that will help you to develop your Clairvoyance (You will need minimum 2 people):

First of all make sure that you ground yourself prior to start this exercise.

1-Choose a comfortable and quite place to sit. Use a small table and sit face to face with the other person. One person will be the sender and the other one the receiver.

2-The sender will write down 6 geographical locations on a different piece of paper. Each piece of paper must be marked with a number from 1 to 6. E.i #1- Paris; #2-New york; #3- Italy, etc.. Until #6.

3-Once both of you are grounded and relax, the sender will mentally concentrate hard on things that describe one of the locations. Meanwhile the receiver will try to focus his/her impressions and verbally describe the location they are seeing. Take for example Paris has location #1, the sender could think and picture in his/her mind the Eiffel Tower, a baguette, French flag, the Mona Lisa etc… and “send” this pictures mentally to the receiver.

4-The receiver will write down his/her impressions no matter how strange or irrelevant they may seem.

5-Repeat this until you go through the 6 locations.

6-Compare your notes and see if you match.

You can try this exercise with different cities every single time.

What is Channeling?

Channeling is a New Age term used to describe an ancient practice.

In the movie Ghost, Whoopi Goldberg was giving a séance to one of her clients by contacting the spirit world. This is called Channeling. Ok, at this point of the movie she was pretending to talk to the spirit world. But for those who watched the movie, we know that she will later on communicate to Patrick Swayze who is a spirit in this movie. (If you haven’t watched the movie Ghost yet, what planet have you been living on? GO RENT IT!)

Basically a channeler is a Medium and channeling is when a spirit gets in contact with a medium by entering to his/her body in order to communicate messages or prophesies. This can be done via Tarot card, Ouija Board, crystal ball, meditation, trance, clairvoyance etc…

What is the difference between a Psychic and a Medium?

New to spirituality and wondering what is the difference between a Psychic and a Medium? You are not alone. A lot a people out there are confused about these 2 terms and assume that they mean the same, but they don’t.

Frist of all, it is important to understand that Psychics and Mediums are the intermediary between entities in the spirit world and humans in the physical world. In short, spirit entities such as our spiritual guides use Psychics, Mediums minds and bodies as a tool to communicate with our physical world. Compliments goes to our spirit entities for sharing their knowledge, guidance, and Psychic, Mediums for successfully establishing this connection with the spirit world.

The difference between a Psychic and a Medium is very simple:

When a Medium gives a spiritual reading to someone, he or she will be able to let that person know where this message came from. For example the Medium will tell you that the message came from your spirit guides or a loved one that passed away. However a Psychic won’t know where the message came from.

What the ego means for spiritualist and how to control it?

Who is your worse enemy? Well, the answer of this question is YOU! To be more specific, it is your ego. This ego could be represented, as a little voice inside your head telling you that you can or cannot do something, it is possible or impossible to do things, judging someone or something by thinking that there is not another way than your way etc… Your ego is mainly responsible for slowing down your spiritual growth. I am going to explain you into more details how to control and fight your ego.

8 months ago I have been blessed with a beautiful daughter that has been nothing but the sunshine of my life. Along with being active in my spiritual community, my daughter has been helping me indirectly with my own ego by reminding me every single day what it was like to be a child. This innocence we have at birth slowly disappear with time and pretty much vanishes when we have responsibilities like bills to pay etc. At an early age, children are pretty much egoless, this is why they can see/hear spirits and parents think that their children are talking to their imaginary friends. But with time, some of us lose the ability to see/hear spirits. We forget that we were able to see them in the first place. This is likely due to our education, growing up where only scientific proof and rationality rule our world. A child will see spirits and talk to them; adults will see a spirit and think that it was just a fog, a shadow or a dream.

I believe that the movie Hook, remake of Peter Pan by Steven Spielberg sets a great example of what our ego is going through from birth to the adult stage but also teaches us great lessons on how to control and fight our ego. I recommend you to watch this movie if you haven’t done it yet, meanwhile you can check Wikipedia for a summary of the movie.

There are 2 parts of the movie that stands out for me and really explains how to fight your ego and control it:

-When Peter, played by Robin Williams is sitting at the dinner table with the lost Boys and the only thing that Peter can see is empty plates while the lost Boys saw the food and pretend eating the food, that Peter can’t see. One of the lost boys tells Peter that he has to believe that there is food in his plate. The picture attached to this article is when Peter finally believes that there is food on his plate and the food appearing in his spoon.

- Peter tries to fly but fails many times until he recalled his “”happy thought” from his past with his family and he finally learn how to fly.

Peter couldn’t see the food in his plate until he fought his ego that very likely told him that it is ridiculous to believe that there is food in an empty plate. But by ignoring his ego and believing that there was food on his plate he finally saw the food. Well, if you want to hear or see a spirit one day, you would have to let go and stop listening to your ego like Peter did. Here is a tip to fight your ego, if you think that you hear what could be a spirit but your ego tells you that it cannot be because you cannot see it, then tell yourself/ your ego that you believe in Oxygen but you cannot see it either.

Like Peter, recalling my happy thoughts from the past and the moments spending with my daughter empowered me to take over my ego and allowed me to let my imagination speak freely, be opened minded, hear and see things that I would have never been able to see before. Give it a try you will be surprised of the outcome.

What is a Ghost?

From Ancient Times to New age, ghosts have been a source of interest and often used as myth, in horror stories, for commercial use such as Halloween, plays and movies etc…

Before to go any further, I would like to clarify a few things:

-We are all spirits, however ghosts and loved ones that passed away do not have a body.

- The “Other Side” is our “Home”, where we all came from and we have a choice to come on Earth (or other planets) by reincarnation in a human body to learn, progress and grow our spirit. We can reincarnate on Earth (or other planets) as many times as needed in order to grow.

-As spirits we are all eternal, that being said when dead, we are in fact pretty much alive which explains why we can still communicate with our loved ones that passed away.

When an individual dies, his spirit detaches from his physical body and goes to the “Other Side” via a tunnel that bridges our two worlds. Spirits are attracted to the light from the tunnel that shows them the way to go to the Other Side. However, some spirits stay stuck between our two worlds and it could be for the following reasons:

-The individual who dies thinks that he or she is still alive and on that note, does not acknowledge the tunnel and the light. The movie “The Others” explained really well what happens when a spirit is in denial of his death and shows that ghosts live in different frequency between our two worlds. This frequency is so close to our earth plan this is why we can see and hear them so well most of the time. We think that they are haunting our home and they think that we are haunting theirs.

-Some spirits decided to stay a little bit longer between our two worlds to help their loved ones that are still alive. The movie “Ghost” is a great example as well to explain it.

- Some spirits refuse to go towards the light, as they are too afraid to be faced and judged by God; they are scared to go to Hell.

Now let me add some questions with answers that you might have after reading the above explanations:

Q-Can a ghost stay stuck forever between our two worlds?
A-No, ghosts don’t stay stuck forever between our two worlds, loved ones and spirit guides from the Other Side will help them with the transition. Also mediums can help ghosts to do the transition by communicating with them and telling them that it is time to go Home, to don’t be afraid and to go where the light is through the tunnel. The show Ghost whisperer is good example of this.

Q- How come some spirits don’t realized that they are dead?
A-To my understanding it happens when an individual had a tragic death or when they always believed that after death there is nothing.

Q- Does a spirit has to stay between our two worlds to help their loved ones?
A-No, they usually do it from the Other Side and they can also come back to visit us as well. But some spirits are not aware of it so they reject the light in the tunnel until they feel like they did what they could do to help. In addition, it is easier for a spirit that just passed away to communicate with their loved ones when this spirit is between our two worlds as he or she is still accustom to the frequency of the earth plan.

Q- After we die, are we going to be judged by God and possibly going to Hell?
A-Hell no :) ! As spiritualist we strongly believe that there is no Hell but once we come back Home, we will see all the good and bad we have done during this life and past lives and grow from it. There are of course lost souls out there that decide to not love and believe in God, they are to my understanding floating between other lost souls like zombies. Angels and good spirits are working to get them back “Home” one day as God does not judge and loves every one.

The Seven Principles of Spiritualism

Spiritualism is known as a science, a philosophy and a religion however, spiritualists do not follow any dogma but do believe in the 7 principles of Spiritualism. I am going to share with you the origin of theses 7 principles and their meanings.

Most of the Spiritualist churches repeat the Seven Principles of Spiritualism as part of their service. It is important to not just repeat mindlessly these principles, but to understand the origin of these principles and their meanings.

These Principles were originally communicated through the mediumship of Emma Hardinge Britten (see above picture) in 1871. The communicating spirit was Robert Owen who died in 1858. The Spiritualists’ National Union (SNU), one of the largest Spiritualist organizations in the world, amended these principles in 1901. Bellow both versions of theses principles of spiritualism.

Original Form by Hardinge Britten/ Robert Owen in 1858:

1-The Fatherhood of God
2-The Brotherhood of Man
3-The Immortality of the Soul and its Personal Characteristics
4- The proven facts of Communion between departed Human Spirits and mortals
5- Personal Responsibility with compensation and retribution hereafter for all the good and evil deeds done here
6- A path of Eternal Progress open to every Human Soul that wills to tread it by the path of Eternal Good

Amended Form by SNU in 1901 use today in must Spiritualist Churches as part of their service:

1-The Fatherhood of God
2- The Brotherhood of Man
3- Communion of Spirits and the Ministry of Angels
4- The continuous existence of the human Soul
5- Personal Responsibility
6- Compensation and retribution hereafter for all good and evil deeds done on earth
7- Eternal progress open to every Soul

As you can see #5&6 are #5 in the original form.

I think it will be fair to ask ourselves if these principles are still relevant today. Let me answer this question by sharing with you the meaning of these principles, at least the way I personally understand and interpret them.

1-The Fatherhood of God: God is our creator, on that note, a Father to all. It’s pretty straightforward.

2-The Brotherhood of Man: God is synonymous with spirit and since God is our Father, it only makes sense that we are all Spirits. That being said, we share all the same origin no matter where you live, black or white, Jewish or Muslim, gay or not etc…For instance it also means that when we help another, we help ourselves. When we harm another, we harm ourselves.

3-Communion of Spirits and the Ministry of Angels: As explained in #2 we are all Spirits. Basically the communion of Spirits is the communication and work made from Sprit in earth and Spirit from the Spirit world that we call the “Other Side or Home ”. Examples of communications with Spirits are spiritual readings and proof of survival. Examples of work by Spirits are all the teaching we received from the “Other Side” such as the 7 principles, that we are eternal etc… The Ministry of Angels represents all types of Angles who are higher souls. The communion of Spirits and the Ministry of Angels represents the communication and work made from Spirits on Earth or the “Other Side” with Angels. For example if I will feel threaten from a certain situation in Earth, I will call my guardian Angels to protect me.

4-The continuous existence of the human Soul: For decades mediums have been providing proof of survival by communicating with those who died which means that they proved us that we are eternal. To clarify, we are all spirits and our soul defines who we are which make us unique. That being said, not only we are eternal but our experiences and feelings too.

5-Personal Responsibility: It means that each one of us has free will of our own actions. No excuses or no one else to blame for our actions than ourselves. We are the only one responsible of our actions and their outcomes (good or bad).

6-Compensation and retribution hereafter for all good and evil deeds done on earth: I invite you to read first my article about the Law of Karma that will help you to understand the 6th principle. In short: Along with #4 explaining that we are eternal and #5 explaining that we are all responsible of our own actions; #6 means that for every good or bad we have accumulated in our present and past lives, these goods and bads will be reattributed toward or next incarnations. In no means, it has to be interpreted that we will go to heaven if we are good or Hell if not. As spiritualist we do not believe in Hell and as #2 explains, we are all children of God and God does not judge and loves all of us.

7-Eternal progress open to every Soul: Along with #4 explaining that we are eternal, #7 is implying that our spiritual growth is limitless and eternal. The progress of our Soul is the result of our experiences gained in our lives that further our spirit growth. It also means that all Spirits, even the one that are in a dark path, are subject to progress toward the higher and the best as God once again loves all his/her (God does not have a gender to my knowledge) children, does not judge and wishes that all of his/her children find wisdom in their experiences to keep them or bring them back to the right path.

My understanding and interpretation of the 7 principles makes so much sense and sounds quite relevant to me. What about you?

Spiritual Healing Part 1

There is so much to say about Spiritual Healing that it is simply impossible to cover it all in one article. I am going to introduce you to Spiritual Healing, its origins and explain how it works.

Intro:

Before I start on Spiritual Healing, I think it is important to remember that Spiritualists are also Scientists. That being said, Spiritualists don’t just believe in any phenomena by faith but want proof of it. For years, the most well known Scientists of the world along with mediums have been working together in order to understand and validate phenomena. I have listed below few things that have been proved, validated by Scientists and also listed what Spiritualists believe even if it hasn’t been proven in the first place:

- Even if not all the Scientists understand or agree on how we communicate (such as Clairvoyance, clairaudience etc…) with our loved ones that passed away, they did prove and validate that we can communicate with dead people. In conclusion they proved that we are all eternal, including animals.
- Since our corpse is not eternal but we are, Scientists along with mediumship and religions studies agree that we are all Spirits with a Soul (Find more about Spirit and Soul in this article: The Seven Principles of Spiritualism). Scientists have a hard time to determine what our Spirit is made of. Some agree that Spirit is energy and as far as I know, nobody has yet proven that energy can be destroyed; it make sense to me to say that our spirit is made of energy since we are eternal. However others Scientists just don’t want to agree to it, as it has not been proven yet. I guess this is when faith comes into place. As Spiritualist we believe that our father God is energy so we are energy and the entire universe is energy as well since God created it.
- As Spiritualist, we also believe that we have been infused with knowledge from the “Other Side” (More details about the “Other Side” in this article: What is a Ghost) before and while being on the Earth plane; people are given the knowledge to inventions, cures, and medicine etc…
- I strongly recommend you to read the 7 Chakras article that I have made prior to read what’s next. Chakras have a major part in Spiritual Healing.

Origins:

From ancient cultures to modern times, Spiritual Healing has always been part of human kind’s life. That being said, Spiritual Healing is not associated with any particular religion. Healing is for everyone in the world (including animals) regardless of their beliefs, cultures etc… History gave us proof of Spiritual Healing back from the ancient Egypt and ancient Greece (around 400 B.C.). I am quite sure that Spiritual Healing was practice way before that time but it is very hard to trace back to it since no records of this was kept in writing. In ancient times, death, illness and disease were feared and medicine, religion and magic were the only resources. Some medical practices and medicines used in ancient times are still in use today. That being said and along with our spiritual belief that scientists, and Doctors have been infused with this knowledge of medicine for years, it is important to understand the following:

The sessions and services offered toward spiritual healing are not intended to replace services such as medical, psychological, or counseling from a licensed Physician, Psychiatrist, or Counselor, and are not intended to diagnose or replace medical, psychological, or counseling treatment or therapy.

Spiritual Healing:

The main thing to understand about Spiritual Healing is that the healer is in fact an instrument of our Divine. What it means is that Angels and Spirit healers from the “Other Side” will use the healer from this Earth plan to vehicle healing energy through his/her body toward the patient. Such as a medium, the healer is in fact an intermediate between our two worlds. So it is not uncommon to have Spiritual Healers that are not calling themselves healers as they acknowledge that they are the instruments of our Divine and that Angles and Spirit Healers are the one that heal. To my understanding this healing energy is mainly taken from the universe that was made by our Divine.

There are several healing technics such as Reiki and ethics to follow while performing Spiritual Healing but it will be covered in another part of this subject. On that note, I am only going to share with you the basic healing technic that everyone can do and that is also offered to pretty much all the Spiritual Churches I know of:

-In order to perform Spiritual Healing, the healer will ground him/her self by meditating for a couple of minutes prior to start the healing.
- Once grounded the healer will pray to his angels, and spirit healers and ask to be allowed the power of the divine to heal through him or her.
- When ready, the healer will perform the healing by going over the 7 Charkas of the patient by having his/her hands few inches over the patient’s Chakras without touching him/her.
- When the Spiritual Healing is completed, the healer will thank his/her Angels and Spirit Healers and ask them to keep healing the patient until he or she receives healing again.

Usually the healer spends about 5 minutes by patient.

In addition, it is not recommended that a healer use’s his own energy to heal a patient. A Healer could get sick by using his/her own energy. To avoid this, healers must acknowledge that he/she is an instrument of our Divine to vehicle the healing energy from the source of the universe and not his/her own energy. The great thing about Spiritual Healing is you are not only helping others but you also receive healing for yourself while performing Spiritual Healing; since the healing energy gets through you. The other benefits you will receive by practicing Spiritual Healing is to develop your mediumship as you are channeling with the “Other Side” while healing. By developing your mediumship, some healers can also see aura colors in correlation with our Charkas that are associated to a specific illness, emotions or mood. Aura colors will be treated along with Spiritual Healing technic in a different part of this subject.

Absent Healing:

First of all, Absent Healing is effective as contact healing. Since the patients are not physically present with you, the Absent Healing consists of a prayer asking your Angles and Spirit Healers to send healing energy to the people or animals that need healing regardless their distance.

Self-Healing:

Simply perform the same healing technic describe above to yourself.

If you are looking to get Spiritual Healing, check our Links page where you will find most of the Spiritual Churches in Canada that offer Spiritual Healing for free as part of their service. Some of these Spiritual Churches also propose Healing workshops that I strongly recommend you to take in order to learn the ethics and understanding of Spiritual Healing.

I hope that this introduction to Spiritual Healing has given you some enlightenment in the subject and you will give it a try.

Terminology

I have received a couple weeks ago an email from one of our readers asking me if “Astro Travel” the same meaning as “Atral Traval”. As history is moving forward and studies have progressed, terminology has developed. I have read numerous books from different centuries and writers, finding variances of terminology and synonym. I can give you countless of examples such as etheric body is another name for spiritual body or the soul. I wish we all spoke the same language; it will be so much easier, Don’t you think? I am bilingual and realized that some slang words and terms are now officially part of our dictionary. The only way to keep up, is to read as much as you can from different authors and researches. It is also to the discretion of the authors and researchers to ensure that they provide a clear definition of the words they are using. Feel free to email me if you have any questions, don’t be shy and post them in our Forums.

Who are our Spirit Guides? Part 1

I heard about Spirit Guides years ago when I was given my first reading. At the time, I was quite young and certainly confused with all that was told to me in my reading. I assumed that Spirit Guides was another name for Guardian Angles. But I was wrong… After further research, and having countless experiences and reading tons of books on this subject, I can now answer this question.I am going to do an introduction on who are our Spirit Guides and share with you how to communicate with them in a daily basis.

As you may already know, being a spiritualist is also being a scientist. That being said, we just don’t believe, we also want proof. So what you are going to read is a mix of what has been proven to me through my mediumship and what I choose to believe by faith until science proves it different. For instance, I have been giving readings to people I have never met before and I have been accurate most of time with specific details that I wouldn’t have never known. This is what we call a proof of survival, proving that there is life after death/continuous life. Whatever else you are going to read is what I believe by faith and it makes sense to me so far, from what I have read.

As often people confuse the role of Angels vs. their Spirit Guides, I figure that I should clarify this:

Spirit Guides are much different from angels. For instance, Spirit Guides have lived a life of their own at one point but Angels never have. On that note, Spirit Guides could have been deceased friends or relatives that have passed away before we were born and function as a guides on the “Other Side” while we are here, on this Earth plane. Also, Spirit Guides seems to have limited powers compare to Angels. For example, Spirit Guides will give you a gut feeling or a inner sense of a danger but will not act without permission. On the other hand, Angels such Guardian Angles, can and will act with or without your approval and have the power to do so. That being said, it could imply that there is a hierarchy on the “Other Side” since our Spiritual Guides cannot act without permission. I am going to simplify this introduction of “Who are our Spirit Guides? Part 1” (but will Develop in part 2) in the following order, God is in charge, right under comes Angels, followed by our Guides. I won’t get technical on this introduction, as there is so much to say about Spirit Guides. In the sense of this hierarchy, you can pray to God and Angles but no need to pray to your Guides. You can simply talk to them (in your mind or out load) always with love and respect. On part 2, I will talk about our Spiritual Chart, pack/agreements that we have made with our Guides, inner and outer circle Guides, animal Spirit Guides and so much more… I will as well dedicate a specific article about Angles in the future.

Wondering Why Angels are not our Guides?

As I mentioned earlier, Spirit Guides have once been recarnated at some point, which makes them the most suitable to guide us in our spiritual journey. They know what it is to be Human, making mistakes, having emotions, compassion etc… The functions of our Spirit Guides are but not limited to teach, heal, and help/guide you on your physical journey into a spiritual awareness. They will never judge you and let you down. We are actually the ones that judge and give up.

How to communicate with your Spirit Guides?

Let me tell you a bit of my story first, to give you an understanding on how I became a psychic-medium. Contrary to some psychic-mediums that I have met and heard, they have been speaking and hearing spirits since their early age, it has never been my case or I was to young to remember it. I have always been intuitive but no more no less than that. When I received my first reading, I was 18 years old and I realized a couple years later that everything that was said to me in this reading happened exactly the way I was told. It was my first proof of the existence of the “Other Side“. So I started to read as much as I can and tried a couple of exercises in some books but had no luck. When I moved to Canada I went to see a medium that happened to be a Reverent of a Spiritual Church and advised me to stop by sometime. His reading blew me away and I couldn’t wait to go to this Spiritual Church. When I started to go to this Spiritual Church, I kept receiving messages from mediums and I told myself that this is what I want to do. The Reverent told me that several workshops take place at the Church and I should enrol to develop my mediumship. I have taken so many workshops from intuitive development to healing, in order to do work from the platform (Working from the platform means giving messages to people at Church).

So let me share with you how I went form being intuitive to directly talking to spirits and giving messages in a very short amount of time:

- PATIENCE is not only a virtue but also a must to have. It took me a couple of months before to see results. I could have taken less time but my Ego was really what slowed me down, as I wanted results right away and felt like giving up sometimes.

- GROUND YOURSELF by meditating. A lot of people say that they are too hyper and can’t meditate. Guess what? Every body can meditate and most of you don’t even realize that you do sometime. For example, when you listen to your favourite music and you have this moment when you out there in your own world, that is meditating. I also have a hard time meditating until I find the right music. With practice I went from a good hour in grounding myself and now I can ground myself in meditation within 5 minutes.

- LEARN AND PRACTICE. Just take the learning part that empower’s you at this present moment and leave the rest for now. Then practice as much as you can.

- DO NOT COMPARE your progress with others. We are all unique and we are where we should be. So don’t be too hard on yourself and keep practicing.

- ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR GUIDES AND LOVE ONES. If you received proof of continuous life then it is time for you to acknowledge them. Thank them when they come to you via messages from mediums or other forms. By acknowledging them, it will help you in so many ways to establish communication.

- STOP THINKING RATIONAL! That is probably the hardest thing to do, as we have been raised to see a world where only rationality and scientific proof counts. For example, when I started my mediumship, I tried so hard to hear or see something but had no luck. In fact, Spirit Guides and love ones were talking, guiding and answering to my questions all the time. I realized later that I wasn’t listening to them. I wanted to hear through my ears and see them through my eyes. But they were talking to me via clouds, signs, panels, radio, my guts etc…(By experience, they will communicate with you in the way that you least expect.) One day I simply let it go and told myself that I have faith on the “Other Side“  and what has been proven to me is way enough to turn something irrational to rational. After I drastically changed my set of mind and finally acknowledged these other forms of communications, I started to develop my clairvoyance, clairsentience, clairaudience etc…. On that note, I can now see through my third eye and see vivid images or things like, smell and hear words etc…

- MAKE A PACK WITH GOD that you will use this knowledge for the higher and the best. Never break this pack and you will be able to develop and keep this amazing gift

This is how I became a medium by combining PATIENCE, GROUNDING MYRSELF, LEARN AND PRACTICE, DO NOT COMPARE, ACKNOWLEDGE MY GUIDES/LOVE ONES, STOPPED THINKING RATIONAL, AND MAKING A PACK WITH GOD.

I hope this introduction to Spirit Guides inspire you to give it a try

Hypnosis Part 1

First time I heard about hypnosis, was in spy movies where the bad guys used hypnosis to steal or kill. I did not have a clear understanding of hypnosis I thought it was something that was to control the minds of people, but through my learning of my mediumship, hypnosis was nothing like what the movies portrayed it to be. I have been learning how powerful and limitless hypnosis is. My good friend Dr. Julien Meagher who is a certified hypnotherapist, gave me my first hypnotherapy session a couple weeks ago that I am going to share with you after the break.

I can tell you right away that my first hypnotherapy session went very well and exceeded by far my expectations. I found a lot of similarity on how a reading and a hypnotherapy session takes place. These similarities made me very comfortable, relaxed and I gave me the trust in my first session. For instance, I wrote an article “Suggestions for receiving a reading” explaining that psychic-mediums are not here to tell you what you want to hear, we are here to guide you and not magically make your problems in your life disappear, if you are already telling yourself that it is not going to work, then no matter how hard we are trying to give you a reading, it will go nowhere since you already decided that it wouldn’t work. As I do every single time prior to giving a reading, Dr. Julien Meagher read me a disclaimer prior to the session in order to ensure my understanding about how he works, the expectations of his work and potential results/outcomes of the sessions. His disclaimer was very similar to my article. Dr. Julien Meagher also clarified that the type of shows that we have seen on TV, pretending that a person can be controlled by hypnosis through a swinging watch, is absolutely fake. For a hypnotherapist, it is as insulting as saying that psychic-mediums are fortunetellers.

This is what hypnotherapy sessions can help you with:
Remove any phobia, losing weight, manage your temper, stammering, nail biting, depressions, insomnia , fear of public speaking, past life regression etc… There is much more than the above listed but this is just an introduction to hypnosis.

As you may know already, spiritualist believes in reincarnation. Reincarnation is one of the Seven Principals of Spiritualism. I always wondered how many lives I’ve have had before, who I was and the correlation between these lives. So I decided that my first hypnotherapy session would be about my past lives. In hypnotherapy it’s called past lives regression. There is so much to say about past life regression and reincarnation that I will dedicate an entire article about it in the near future.

As I never had a hypnotherapy session before, Dr. Julien Meagher gave me short exercises, about 5 minutes long , to get me ready for the session. To give you an idea, one of the exercises was to stand up and raise my arm straight, perpendicular to my body, put my hand face up and making sure that my arms are at the same level. Then he asked me to close my eyes and imagine that he was adding books on my right hand, one at the time. Then he asked me to open my eyes, for me to see that my left hand was still perpendicular to my body while my right hand was lower than my left hand. These types of exercises are meant to see how your mind responds to hypnosis. These exercises were followed by a short meditation, as I usually do prior to a reading. Once relaxed, Dr. Julien Meagher started to play some relaxing music in the background and assured me that I will be in control at all times. We established an easy Yes or No finger signal to communicate with each other while the session was in progress, avoiding me to speak or open my eyes while being in trans (Trans is a deep stage of meditation). Dr. Julien Meagher guided me to what sounded like a basic meditation (going down the stairs, opening doors etc…) but quickly guided me with what I would like to call targeted questions. Every single time he asked me a question like, what do you see on your left, on my right, what is the name of this person, what are they doing etc…? The questions seem flawless. When I looked, I suddenly saw appearing landscapes, people and scenes. Meanwhile Dr. Julien Meagher was taking notes of my answers in order to go over it at the end of the session with me.

I had the chance to experience two past lives regression during this session and I have to tell you this blew my mind. The correlation of these lives had so much meaning for me and made so much sense to me to understand why I am where I am now.

The key of a successful hypnotherapy session is pretty much the same recipe than going to a reading session: Be open-minded, read as much as you can about it, as knowledge is power and you will be able to recognize a real hypnotherapist from crooks. Word of month is pretty much the safest way to bank your cash on a good hypnotherapist and needless to say that I recommend Dr. Julien Meagher if you live in London Ontario area.

Who are the Indigo and Crystal children?

Couple years ago I heard about Indigo and Crystal children without being that much interested in the subject until recently, I received messages from several mediums telling me that my daughter is a Crystal child. Since then, I have been searching for information as much as I can about the Indigo and Crystal children. I am going to share with you my research on this subject and my two cents about it

Let me start by saying that I truly believe that all children are precious and gifted. On the same note, this is my point of view on Indigo and Crystal children or whatever names are out there, stating that these children have special abilities. These children are not better than other children that don’t have these special abilities, such as mediums they are not in any circumstances better than others, just because they can hear and talk to spirits. So please do not get caught up with these labels.

As spiritualist we believe in reincarnation, being part of the 7 Principals of spiritualism. As souls, we have decided to incarnate or reincarnate to a specific life to live a unique journey in order to learn and grow ourselves for the higher and the best. Some souls called “old souls” incarnate or reincarnate with amazing gifts and abilities in order to assist the next evolution of human kind. Those are the souls that are called Indigo and Crystal Children. Indigo and Crystal Children are the most mainstream names/labels that I found on the web but there are many different names out there for them, such as Star, Diamond, Rainbow children to name a few, being classified depending of their abilities and ages. I am only going to focus on the Crystal and Indigo children in this article. From 0 to 7 years old they are called Crystal Children and from 7 years old to the 30’s they are called Indigo children. Both are very psychic and have been named after their Auras color. Crystal children are said to be a powerful source of love and peace on Earth where the Indigo generations will become leaders and create new technologies for mankind’s evolution. I also found that you can also become a Crystal and indigo adult by acquiring these abilities along the way.

What really stands out and spoke to me the most in my research were two major things:

First thing was that these “old souls” are here to play a major part in the process of human kind Ascension. This caught my attention . I could name countless of people like Martin Luther King, Albert Einstein, Sister Theresa that have brought much wisdom with them for the next step in human evolution.

The second thing that stands out in my research was how to identified an Indigo and Crystal child. They are described as often functioning poorly in conventional schools due to their rejection of authority, being smarter than their teachers, and a lack of response to guilt, fear or manipulation based in discipline. These characteristics definitely makes sense to me for someone that came on Earth to fight old systems that no longer serve us and want to make life changes for the greater. Once again people like Martin Luther King will be a great example. In addition, Crystal children are also known for being late speaker, starting about 3 to 4 years old to talk. It was explained that the Crystal children being so telepathic that they feel the spoken language is much slower than the mind. The sad part of these descriptions is some children and adult could have been misdiagnosed as autistic, psychiatric disorder and administrated drugs just because they didn’t fit the society and its norm. Being a medium, I can definitely relate as not fitting in the norm and fighting the system for changes. Looking back at History to the present, we have countless of examples where scientists, philosophers, doctors, searchers to name a few, have been laughed at, discriminated, abused and killed for the longest time.

I believe that we will find a cure for cancer, aids and so many other diseases. That human kind will move forward for the highest and the best. No matter what, it will be one of our children that will figure it out. So call then Indigo, Crystal or whatever name you want, they are our future.

Reincarnation Part 1 – The Historical Context

The topic of reincarnation, while very dominant in the collective imagination of Eastern traditions, remains marginalized in Western society. Recent scientific research on the topic, however, is reintroducing this age old belief into Western popular culture, with interesting therapeutic applications in the fields of psychology, psychiatry as well as alternative health. Psychiatrist Dr. Brian Weiss, through the use of past-life regression in his clinical practise and psychiatrist Dr. Ian Stevenson, through his ground-breaking cross-cultural reincarnation studies, are revolutionizing our modern understanding of the soul’s journey through time and space. What if we weren’t limited to a single life on earth? What if our soul had many lives to experience the physical world, before journeying back to a unified field of consciousness? My article in this section seeks to clarify some of these age old questions, by putting reincarnation back into its proper historical context.

I will first attempt to illustrate the manner in which the doctrine of reincarnation, also known as the transmigration of the soul or metempsychosis, was once a very respected belief, in ancient times, before being ousted from early Western discourse by the advent of modern Christianity. The gradual reintroduction of reincarnation, in the latter half of the 20th century, by such forward thinking pioneers, as the aforementioned psychiatrists will be examined in the second part of this study, as I will summarize the current work being conducted in this fascinating field.

We know that Eastern religions – Hindouism, Bouddhism and Jainism- all adhere to the karmic laws of causality. But it’s interesting to note that The Egyptians, the Druids and the Greeks – starting with Pythagoras- were all believers in the concept of reincarnation as well. In fact, all of Western antiquity was familiar with this principle. The transmigration of the soul is found as a central theme in at least three masterworks of the Greek philosopher Plato, including the Phaedo, The Banquet and in the 10th book of Plato’s Republic: The Myth of Er The Pamphylian. The story of this soldier who dies on the battlefield, only to be brought back to life, in order to tell of what he saw on the Other Side is a powerful testament to the ancient belief in the cyclical nature of our soul’s voyage between physical and nonphysical realms. The Pharisees and especially the Essenes, disciples of Plato, believed in reincarnation. The Jewish people, as a whole were waiting for the return of the prophets, and especially of Elijah. The Jewish Zohar speaks of transmigration, the Kabbalah of rebirth that allows men to be purified. Even Jesus, did not deny the concept. While reincarnation does not explicitly appear in the Gospels of the New Testament, its presence is nevertheless implicit in at least 3 circumstances. 1st: when Christ speaks of Abraham, “The Jews unto him, ‘Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? ‘ Jesus said unto them, ‘Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.’”- Bible: John (8:58) (implying that Jesus was eternal, having lived before)

2nd: the episode of the blind new-born baby. As Jesus passed by, he saw a man who was blind from his birth. So his disciples asked him, saying, ‘Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?’ Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but the works of God should be made manifest in him.”- Bible: John (9:1-3) (implying the man had to have lived before to be born blind)

And lastly, it is announced to Zachary that his son will come forth “with the spirit and the strength of Elijah”. Christ clearly states that John the Baptist is Elijah. “`But I tell you, Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but have done to him everything they wished. In the same way the Son of Man is going to suffer at their hands.’ Then the disciples understood that he was talking to them about John the Baptist.” —Jesus, (Matthew 17:12, 13)

It is interesting to note that many early Christian mystics mention reincarnation in their writings. In the 3rd century A.D., St. Gregory the Illuminator, the Armenian patriarch said: “It is absolutely necessary that the soul should be healed and purified, and that if it does not take place during its life on earth, it must be accomplished in future lives.” Lactantius, the early Christian apologist from North Africa and Origen, one of the most distinguished writers of the early Church, both grant to the soul pre-existing and subsequent lives. One hundred years later, in the 4th century, the views on reincarnation, within the clergy, remained largely unchanged. St. Augustin ponders the following. “Did my infancy succeed another age of mine that dies before it? Was it that which I spent within my mother’s womb? . . . And what before that life again, O God of my joy, was I anywhere or in any body?” The tendency to hide reincarnation from the public begins in the 4th century A.D., with St. Jerome who stated the following “The transmigrations (reincarnation) of souls was taught for a long time among the early Christians as an esoteric and traditional doctrine which was to be divulged to only a small number of the elect.” (Jerome, letter to Demetrias) Indeed, this “one chance one life doctrine” with eternal damnation without parole for sinners, was a most convenient way to maintain the Church’s authority.

The second Council of Constantinople, held in 553 A.D. by the Byzantine emperor Justinian, marks a turning point in the history of reincarnation in the West. For it was here that, for purely political reasons, Pope Vigilius was forced to condemn Origen’s proposals related to, among other things, the pre-existence of the soul. It should be noted that the total blackout in effect in the West on this essential subject, which has lasted over 1500 years, has finally been lifted. Since 1979, The Vatican has officially authorized research into reincarnation.

The gradual reintroduction of reincarnation, in the latter half of the 20th century, by such forward thinking pioneers, as the Dr. Brian Weiss and Dr. Ian Stevenson, will be examined in the second part of this study, as I summarize the current work being conducted in this fascinating field.

Reincarnation Part 2 – The Scientific Research

Modern scientific research into the field of reincarnation first began in the 1960’s when Dr. Ian Stevenson, a psychiatrist and professor at the University of Virginia published a ground-breaking article in the Journal of American Psychical Research: « The Evidence for Survival from Claimed Memories of Former Incarnations”. The fallout from this first article, and his subsequent contribution to researching this phenomena is immense. In the Journal of Nervous and Mental Diseases, from September 1977, Dr. Harold Lief was quoted as saying the following about Stevenson: “Either he is making a colossal mistake or he will be known as the Galileo of the 20th century”. Over his forty year career, Dr. Stevenson published 10 books and countless peer reviewed articles, for a total of over 3000 cross-cultural case studies, suggestive of the survival of our individual consciousness, through the process of reincarnation. In his massive body of work, Ian Stevenson suggests 3 arguments to support the reincarnation thesis.

First, the presence of certain gifts having to do with the child, that couldn’t be transmitted through heredity. An example of this is the case of Parmod, a 3 year old child who remembers having been a lemonade salesman in a past life. In front of amazed onlookers, the little boy operates a very complex lemonade machine, without adult assistance.

The second argument brought forth is that of birth marks. For Stevenson, who cites numerous cases in his book Reincarnation and biology, these birthmarks constitute even more objective evidence. One such example is that of Mung Sein Win, a Burmese child who remembers having been a Japanese soldier in a previous life. He was allegedly killed in northern Burma, by machine gun fire from a plane flying overhead, during the Second World War. The little boy had two birth marks, one small round one over his chest and one much larger one over the upper part of his back, that resembled a scar. The multiple examples, all corresponding to the manner of death in the previous lifetime, sometimes with supporting autopsy pictures from the previous life, offers powerful evidence in favour of the reincarnation hypothesis.

Thirdly, memories of the theatre of a previous life, including locations and people further substantiate the reincarnation hypothesis. I will cite here the case of Prakash. Born in 1951 in Chhatta, Uttar Pradesh province, India, starting at 4 and a half years of age, the young child exhibited a strange behaviour that lasted for more than a month. The boy would awaken in the night and run out into the street. When caught by his parents, he explained that his name was Nirmal Jain, that he came from Kosi Kalan, a small town some ten km. away and that he wanted to go back to his old house. His memories were very clear. In addition to his former name and the name of his former father, Bholanath, Prakash was later able to supply the name of Nirmal’s older sister, Tara, upon visiting Kosi Kalan in 1961. He shed tears of joy upon seeing Tara, as well as Nirmal’s parents, whom he instantly recognized. Furthermore, Prakash was able to supply the names of the neighbours, whom he correctly identified as Tek Chaud, Ramesh and Narain, not to mention the exact location of their respective shops. He accurately named his father’s line of work, a shirt salesman, as well as accurately saying that he owned four stores. Upon seeing Devendra, Nirmal’s younger brother and Jagdish, Nirmal’s eldest brother, Prakash correctly identified them as his brothers. Furthermore, upon seeing Chameli, Nirmal’s aunt as well as Chiranji, another aunt, Prakash referred to them as “auntie”.

In the Jain’s house, Prakash correctly identified Nirmal’s bedroom, who died of smallpox, at age ten. He recognized the diamond chain, having belonged to his grandfather as well as the toy cart that Nirmal was so fond of playing with. Lastly, Prakash recognized the family doctor present that day, by saying “It’s the doctor” when asked to identify the man standing in front of him. Of all the information supplied by the young boy that day, everything was accurate, save for one thing. He wrongly named Memo, one of Nirmal’s sisters by the name of Vimla. But this mistake was entirely explainable since it turned out that Nirmal did in fact have a sister named Vimla, only Memo, the girl he incorrectly named, was born after Nirmal’s death.

A last characteristic that would support the reincarnation hypothesis is that of xenoglossy (or the ability to speak a language with which one is not familiar) After all other explanations have been investigated – such as fraud, genetic memory, telepathy and cryptomnesia (the remembering of a foreign language learned earlier), xenoglossy is taken as evidence of either memories of a language learned in a past life or of communication with a discarnate entity— a spirit.

There are literally thousands of xenoglossic cases, many hundreds of which have been documented. They involve modern and ancient languages from all over the world. Dr Ian Stevenson used scientific method to illustrate xenoglossy and claims that there are only two possible explanations—either spirit contact or past life memory – both of which are evidence for the afterlife.

Dr Stevenson has done specialized research into xenoglossy and his book Xenoglossy, published in 1974, is one of the leading scientific studies in this area. In it he documents a study he made of a 37 year old American woman. Under hypnosis she experienced a complete change of voice and personality into that of a male. She spoke fluently in the Swedish language—a language she did not speak or understand when in the normal state of consciousness. Dr Stevenson’s direct involvement with this case lasted more than eight years. The study involved linguists and other experts and scientists who meticulously investigated every alternative explanation. Fraud was ruled out for a number of substantive reasons which Stevenson outlines in his study.

Dr. Joel Whitton, another psychiatrist and past-life researcher, cites the case of Harold Jaworski who under hypnosis wrote down twenty-two words and phrases which he ‘heard’ himself speaking in a past Viking life. Working independently, linguists identified and translated ten of these words as Old Norse and several of the others as Russian, Serbian or Slavic. All were words associated with the sea (Whitton and Fisher 1987: 210). Cryptomnesia—the recollection of a foreign language learned in the earlier years of a person’s life was also ruled out.

Finally, I would be remiss in my overview of reincarnation research if I did not mention the important contribution of psychiatrist Dr. Brian Weiss. A pioneer in reincarnation research, using past-life regression, through hypnosis, Dr. Weiss has authored 7 books on the subject, since 1980. His most well-known book, Many Lives, Many Masters, speaks of the story of his first past-life patient, Catherine. In spite of 18 months of intense psychotherapy, Catherine’s many fears, including the fear of water, of choking, of the dark and of dying only intensified until, with the use of hypnosis, Dr. Weiss instructed Catherine to go back to the time from which her symptoms first arose. What came next, was a complete shock to this empirical doctor. Catherine spoke of a life lived in 1863 B.C. as an Egyptian woman named Aronda, who when progressed to her death in that life, reported drowning, by chocking on water, from a tidal wave that hit her village. A week after this startling past life regression, upon her next visit, her symptoms had miraculously disappeared. What 18 months of intense psychotherapy had failed to do, just 1 past-life regression session had permanently resolved.

These exceptional cases would be considered anecdotal, were they isolated, but as mentioned, over 3000 case studies documented by Dr. Ian Stevenson alone, are strongly suggestive of the cyclical nature of our souls, from the physical to the non physical and back again. But even were there to be only one such reported case, that case alone would be worthy of scientific examination, for no other reason that it confounds the traditional materialist paradigm. As the great American philosopher and psychologist Henry James remarked: “It is sufficient to produce one white crow in order to prove that not all crows are black”.

In the debate on reincarnation, it is helpful to remember that “ it is a foible of human nature to stoutly defend an established position despite overwhelming evidence against it”. (Power vs. Force, p.213) I will close with the words of Dr. Stevenson who had this to say in response to a skeptic interviewer: “One can believe in reincarnation, if they so wish, based on the evidence.” I hope that this 2 part article will have been helpful, in putting reincarnation back into its proper historical context and in summarizing that supportive evidence for the cyclical journey of the human soul.

What are Home Circles?

If you are seeking for mediumship and spiritual development, you definitely want to be involved with Home Circles. There are different types of Home Circles but they are all meant to develop your natural gifts through discipline and commitment.

There are two major types of Home Circles that I know of and that I have been participating for a couple of years:

Open/Public Home Circles and Private Home Circles. They are development groups of like-minded individuals taking place in a safe environment in order to share and learn skills toward psychic awareness and mediumship. Home Circles usually takes place at someone’s home, churches/sanctuaries or likewise environment that is used for safe and long-term meetings. If I don’t mistaken the Home Circles got its name from the “Ring of Chairs” set up in the room where individuals are sitting during the session. The Circle is a very powerful symbol and it could also explain where it got its origin from. Do not mistaken Home Circles with Workshops. In the Home Circle, psychic mediums will put to practice technics learnt from the workshops. Don’t get me wrong, you do a lot of practice in workshops but Home Circles are mainly about giving messages from the Other Side.

In order to have a successful and sustainable Home Circle sessions, some basic rules must be respected:

The Home Circle must always be located at the same place; same time and only one person must run the circle. If the Circle is at 7pm then the door should be closed at 7pm sharp. Nobody else should enter or interrupt the Home Circle session while in progress. In addition, the person who run the Circle need to insure that like-minded people are attending the Circle and kick out any individual bringing negativity to the Circle. The individual that runs the Home Circle must be a psychic-medium.

Believe or not, Spirits are busy on the Other Side working on their own spiritual development and by helping us out. This is the reason why a Home Circle should always start at the same time and the same day. By going to a Home Circle, you basically have an appointment with Spirits. The fact that a Home Circle must be always located at the same place is to allow Spirits and ourselves to build a strong energy in the room. This energy will facilitate the communication between our two worlds. It is like when you move to a new place, it takes a while before it becomes comfortable and feels like home.

Let me share with you the differences between those two types of Home Circles.

Open/Public Home Circles:

Open Circles are suitable for individuals of all abilities. I have seen up to 30 people participating to an Open Home Circle at once. Technically, you can have as many people as you want as long as there are enough psychic –mediums to take care of the individuals attending the session. What I mean by taking care is one psychic –medium would have a hard time giving messages to that many people. The psychic medium hosting the Circle will likely invite other psychic mediums to help out. I love Open Home Circles because, for me it is a great opportunity to test my gifts and extend my mediumship by giving messages to individuals I have never met before. However the down side of Open Circle is that there are always new people which make it hard sometimes to build a strong energy to give messages.

Private Home Circles:

A Private Home Circle is restricted to specific individuals chosen by the person who runs the Home Circle. This type of Circles is usually about 10 members max. What I love about this type of Circle is that the energy built is very strong which will create more paranormal phenomena and a stronger psychic development than the Open Home Circle. However, this type of Circle will only work with committed and disciplined individuals. Not easy to come everyday at the same time, same day, same place for years! That’s why most of the Home Circles don’t last very long with the same individuals or don’t have more than 10 people. Those who do last for years are the strongest one for spiritual development.

Needless to say that if you can, I am recommending you to be involved in both, Open and Private Home Circles.

If you have never been in a Home Circle before, let me give you a piece of advice. There is no point what so ever to compare yourself with another member of your Circle. You are exactly where you are supposed to be and we have all a different journey to live. So just remember that EVERY BODY IS EQUAL!

What are Orbs?

Are there Orbs (balls of light like above picture) in your photos? Do you think that they are anomalies or the camera is defective? Think twice before buying a new camera!

What you just photographed and caught on camera could likely be a Ghost! That being said, you might want to read the article I wrote on “What is a Ghost?”

Since Spirits live in a different Earth plan than we do, their apparitions take up a lot of energy and that’s why the small Orbs are the most common shape as it takes up the least amount of energy rather than a fuller shape.

Orbs can be displayed in a bright solid form or completely transparent. More static electricity is in the atmosphere the more chance you will have to see a bigger shape. If you have been part of a Home Circle, I am sure you have felt the room temperature quickly turning cold while communicating with Spirits. This type of cold, static electricity atmosphere makes the communication with Spirits easier between our Earth plans facilitating also apparitions. In addition, Spirits often use your energy and the ones around you to build the shape of their apparitions.

I have also heard that these orbs could also be Nature Spirits and Fairies.

Law of Attraction Part 1- How I have come to know the Law of Attraction

Have you ever wanted to see someone and have them mysteriously show up at your door? Have you ever had a song run through your mind only to hear it played on the radio? Have you ever read a book, watched a TV show or heard a conversation regarding something after having thought about it?

Science teaches us that there are laws that govern our world, one such law being the law of causality. For every cause there’s an effect and for every effect, there’s a cause, it states. Another law, while rejected by mainstream material science is embraced by many quantum physicists and is known as the Law of Attraction. Much talked about in recent years, through the movie the Secret and such scientific documentaries as What the Bleep do we know? it has become the mainstay of the self-development industry and can be traced back to the watershed self-help book Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. Simply put, the Law of Attraction states that our thoughts and feelings create our reality. In other words, we attract, through our thoughts and emotions, the people, circumstances and events that shape our life experience. Other ways of expressing this law are: Where your attention goes, your energy flows. 2. That which you think about expands 3.Like attracts like and 4. That which is like onto itself is drawn.

Recently, I went to Lily Dale, New York, a village known as the headquarters of modern day Spiritualism. I took a book with me to read, while there, called The Holographic Universe by Michael Talbot. On the Saturday, I attended an all day workshop on creating your own quantum reality. During the morning lecture, the speaker made reference to the hologram, as it pertains to our reality. My interest was piqued as I had previously studied some of these theories for my doctoral thesis, a few years ago. Then, we broke for lunch and I went to visit the library with a few friends. In the small nineteenth century library were many bookshelves of New Age books. Without thinking, I approached one of the bookshelves and pulled a book off the shelf. To my astonishment, it was the very book I had brought with me, The Holographic Universe. While some people would call this a coincidence or a random event or luck and simply brush it off, to do so would be unscientific, for such a position would discredit the law of causality. You see, while the cause may well go unrecognized, it does not mean that a cause does not exist. Synchronicity, a term first coined by psychoanalyst Carl Jung, signifies “a meaningful coincidence between two or more events, implying something other than simple probability or random occurrence.” A coincidence suggests the simultaneous manifestation of a mental image in our material world. Time and space thus seem to disappear into what some have called magical thought. Jung’s explanation of synchronicity, which refers to absolute knowledge is similar to what quantum physicists have called the unified field of consciousness.

Law of Attraction is not a new concept or a newly discovered Law. The Law of Attraction has been communicated through the writing and teachings of some of the greatest teachers in history such as Jesus and Buddha. Although it has been fairly recently that The Law of Attraction was given a name, it has existed since the beginning of time! Here are just a couple quotes from a few of these spiritual masters.

Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.

Jesus showed that to stop suffering, you need to change your limiting thoughts and beliefs. It was her belief, which began as a thought that stopped her suffering. He didn’t say, “I have healed you”, he said “Your faith has healed you.”

As a man thinketh, so is he

What is implied by the Buddha in this statement is that whatever thoughts you focus upon will manifest into form and ultimately create your reality. Some other quotes from these spiritual teachers include:

We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make our world.

All that we are is the result of what we have thought. If a man speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows him. If a man speaks or acts with a pure thought, happiness follows him, like a shadow that never leaves him.

Subsequent to a contrasting life experience a few years ago, I began to live a series of meaningful coincidences. I started writing them down as they occurred, in my so-called Book of Proof. Fascinated by these events, and how they came quickly on the heels of an expressed intention, I decided to study the phenomenon of coincidence.

Then in 2008, an opportunity came up for me to write an article on this very subject, for a festival in France, called the Coincidence Festival. The organizer, very pleased with my article, included it in the festival proceedings. Two years later, I gave a talk at Toastmasters, a public speaking club I was a member of, on the topic of Synchronicity. The day before my talk, I opened my E-mail inbox only to find a message from none other than the organizer of the coincidence festival I had not heard from since. Was it just a coincidence?…

My Ph.D. subject, entitled: The Afterlife in the French Postmodern Novel, brought me to investigate scientific research supporting life after death, most notably, the so-called Near death experience. The transition of individual consciousness from the physical to the spiritual realm of existence is known as metamorphosis. As I walked to the library, looking for books on this topic, I was in a deep state of meditation, thinking: “The perfect example of metamorphosis in the animal kingdom is the butterfly”. As I pondered this thought a second time, and approached the front door, I was astounded to see, on the glass door of the library, a poster of a butterfly. The caption on the poster read “re-inventing creative leadership”. However, that was not all, for on the glass door onto which the poster of the picture of the butterfly was taped, a real butterfly had just landed!

Synchronicity reveals itself as the first material manifestation or outer sign of evolving human awareness, towards higher states of consciousness. I’m grateful for the many meaningful coincidences I have experienced in my life and now better understand how our thoughts, beliefs and ideas really do shape our reality. So the next time you experience a coincidence, the next time: what was meant to be, falls into place, seemingly out of the blue, remember that it wasn’t simply caused by luck, randomness, chance, fate or coincidence but by you, for: “as you think, so shall you be”.

Law of Attraction Part 2 – The Science behind the Law of Attraction

Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics.

Albert Einstein

In support of the universal Law of Attraction, I would like to offer a brief historical overview of the paradigm shifting discoveries made by quantum physics over the last 85 years. For those who have heard the term but do not know specifically what it studies, quantum physics is the branch of science whose purpose it is to investigate the behaviour of particles, at the subatomic level.

The repercussions of the 19279 Copenhagen Congress, which marks the birth of quantum physics, are so profound, that they have only just begun to ripple into our entrenched Newtonian perceptions of reality. So monumental were the results of the discoveries that it prompted the following remarks from two of its participants. One of the most important astrophysicists of his time, Sir Arthur Eddington, is quoted as saying the following: “We can, perhaps say, that the conclusion to draw from these arguments of modern science is that, religion has become possible for a reasonable scientist around 1927. (1) The Nobel laureate, Werner Heisenberg, one of the pioneers of quantum physics and the author of the famous Principle of Uncertainty had this to say: « Keeping in mind the intrinsic stability of normal language concepts during the course of scientific evolution, we see that- after the experience of modern physics- our attitude towards concepts like the human mind, the soul, life or God will be different than what they were in the XIX th century.(2)

One of quantum physics’ earliest and most shocking findings, was that an electron can manifest as either a particle or a wave. The single category known as wave-particles were baptised quanta. This chameleon like ability is common to all subatomic particles, of which all matter is constituted. It is therefore common to all things. Light, gamma rays, radio waves, X rays- all can change from waves to particles and back again.(3) Even more incredible, it was found that these quanta only coalesce into particles when they are being observed (The observer effect). The comments made by Eddington and Heisenberg, regarding religion, the soul and God is based on the assumption that subatomic events are somehow interconnected, an assumption made by one of the founding fathers of quantum physics, the Danish physicist Niels Bohr. Bohr pointed out that “if subatomic particles only come into existence in the presence of an observer, then it is also meaningless to talk about a particle’s properties and characteristics as existing before they are observed. (4) This, of course, didn’t sit well with many of the physicists, for the very nature of science itself requires the observation of phenomena. Experimental science would thereby be put in jeopardy.

The findings that particles only exist when observed, when combined with another quantum discovery, namely that some subatomic processes (through positronium decay) result in the creation of a pair of particles (photons) with identical or closely related properties, implied that subatomic particles were interconnected. Albert Einstein had a problem with Bohr’s conclusion of instantaneous communication because it would invalidate his special theory of relativity, that states that nothing can travel faster than the speed of light, let alone instantaneously. Such a view of reality would break the time barrier and open up all kinds of paradoxes. (5) Einstein and two colleagues challenged this quantum view of reality with the now famous Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen (EPR) paradox in 1935.

David Bohm, a former protégé of Einstein’s and one of the world’s most respected quantum physicists, intrigued by the bizarre state of interconnectedness that existed between apparently unrelated subatomic events, over time developed a theory based on holograms, now known as three-dimensional images projected into space with the aid of a laser. Later joined by Stanford neurophysiologist Karl Pribram, one of the architects of our modern understanding of the brain – Bohm concluded that the universe itself might well be a giant hologram, a three dimensional image or construct, created, at least, in part, by the human mind. David Bohm’s holographic universe is premised upon quantum physics’ earliest findings. “ In Bohm’s interpretation of the sub-quantum level, the level in which the quantum potential operates, location ceased to exist. All points in space became equal to all other points in space.(6) Physicists call this property “non-locality”. The non-local aspect of quantum physics allowed Bohm to explain the connection between twin particles without violating Einstein’s special theory of relativity, with regards to travelling faster than the speed of light. In 1952, theoretical physicist, John Stuart Bell became fascinated by Bohm’s proposal that there were variables in addition to those that other physicists already knew about. After many years of thought, he came up with a theorem in 1964 to experimentally verify the EPR paradox, that is now called Bell’s theorem. But it wasn’t until the 1980’s that technology allowed for Bell’s theorem to be tested.

In 1982, a team of physicists under Alain Aspect at the Institute of Optics at the University of Paris succeeded in the two-particle experiment outlined by Bell. The success of their experiment meant that either Einstein’s faster than light restrictions were being violated or that the two photons were non-locally connected. Since most physicists are opposed to admitting faster than light processes into physics, Aspect’s experiment is regarded as virtual proof that the connections between the two photons is non-local.(7) However, Aspect’s experiment, repeated in 1997 by Nicholas Gisin, demonstrate a speed far in excess of the speed of light. « In Aspect’s experiment, the communication between particles twelve meters apart was estimated at less than one billionth of a second, about twenty times the speed at which light travels in empty space, while in Gisin’s experiment, particles ten km apart appeared to be in communication 20,000 times faster than the velocity of light, relativity theory’s supposedly unbreakable speed barrier. (8)» Then, in 2011, a team of physicists at the particle accelerator of the Cern, in Geneva, Switzerland, made public to the world their findings, regarding neutrinos having travelled 711km to a station in Gran Sasso, Italy, at a speed exceeding the speed of light.

The implications of Aspect’s Paris experiment, confirming the original conclusions of quantum mechanics and leading up to last year’s Geneva announcement, opens the door to a new, non-dualistic model of reality, validating David Bohm’s holographic universe theory, in which holism or unity through our thoughts and our consciousness is the ultimate reality. Physicist William Tiller, head of the Department of Material Science at Stanford University supports Bohm’s holographic idea and compares the universe to the “holodeck” on the T.V. show Star Trek: The Next Generation. What Einstein considered to be “spooky effect at a distance”, has been proven true by physicists, under laboratory conditions and repeated since on numerous occasions.(9) According to scientist Ervin Lazlo, recent experiments (2004) show that particles separated up to 41 km maintain their interconnectedness. In light of these monumental findings, many world renown scientists are calling for a paradigm change in science that would completely alter our view of reality. David Bohm’s model is finding the support of such eminent people as Roger Penrose of Oxford, the creator of the modern theory of the Black Hole, Bernard d’Espagnat, of the University of Paris, one of the world’s leading authorities on the conceptual foundations of quantum theory, and Cambridge’s Brian Josephson, winner of the 1973 Nobel Prize in Physics. Josephson, believes that Bohm’s implicate order, may someday even lead to the inclusion of God or Mind within the framework of science.(10) Which is an idea, already forecast, in 1927, by the founding fathers of quantum physics.

Readings

How often should I get a spiritual reading?

We can easily become dependent and addicted to spiritual readings. Spiritual readings are advices, suggestions, and ultimately guidance toward your spiritual chart. It is important to remember that Spiritual readings are not intended to replace medical, legal, financial etc. advices.

A true Medium/Psychic will be the first one to tell you that you have the power of free will and all decisions you will make are your own.  Also a true Medium/Psychic will recommend you a reading no more than 15 minutes every 1 to 2 months, 30 minutes every 3 months and so on. You need to let things work out and live your life.

Suggestions for receiving a Reading

Being in both situations where I received and gave readings, I gained a great understanding on how to prepare myself and be in a proper mindset prior and while receiving a reading.

Either you are going for a private sitting, reading or public séance, it is important to be prepared and aware of few things:

First of all do not expect a Psychic-Mediums to tell you what you want to hear. It is very important to understand that Psychic-Mediums are not Fortunetellers. That being said, they are not here to tell you what you want to hear, but what Spirits from the Other Side have to say to guide you. The key word here is Guidance, which sometimes comes with answers, hints, proofs and confirmations that will guide you in your spiritual journey.

You might not hear what you want to hear or you might not like what you hear, but you may have the answers of your questions and even have your love ones that passed away to be present while receiving your reading. To do so, I will suggest you to ask Spirits (in a form of a prayer or in your mind) a few days prior to the reading, to provide you guidance toward your questions and also ask your love ones that passed away to be present for the reading. Even if time does not matter in the Other Side, Spirits are busy and do not have answers of all the questions. This is the reason why I suggested asking Spirits a few days prior receiving a reading in order for them to find answers of your questions and be aware that you want them present for the reading as well. As I just mentioned, Spirits don’t have all the answers, however sometime they do have an answer to a specific question but they won’t give it to you directly. Instead, they will guide you; by providing you hints, in order for you to get the answers for your own learning and spiritual growth. Sometimes you will get no answers, as you are not supposed to have them.

So don’t be mad or judge a Psychic-Mediums, because you didn’t hear what you wanted to hear or get the answers to your questions. Keep in mind that negative attitude such as skepticism, arguing or wanting things done your way will only leads to failure. On the same note, do not constantly interrupt a Psychic-Mediums, as you will likely confuse them. Instead I suggest you to follow Psychic-Mediums reading process, be open minded, patient, willing to verify, don’t be too quick to say No, let them know when they are correct, don’t expect for your first problem to be discussed, be relax, expect good and truth. We get often messages that mean nothing to us in the moment but by being open minded and verifying the message, you can recall the spirit that was presented to you or the message can later become a meaningful message that only you will understand. So be patient.

It is important to understand that Psychic-Mediums have their unique ways to work with Spirits. That being said, it will be unfair to compare Psychic-Mediums as they have different abilities. However, I suggest you to ask them the process of their readings to insure that their methods are what you are looking for and suitable for you. In Addition, to avoid crooks, I would suggest you do your research and word of mouth Psychic-Mediums.

How much should I pay for a spiritual reading?

Tarot Cards

If you are thinking about having a spiritual reading for the New Year or you had one already, you will likely ask yourself how much should I pay for a spiritual reading or did I pay the right price? I am going to share with you a few tips to avoid fraudulent spiritual readings, readers and to know what the appropriate charge for a reading.

First thing that you have to keep in mind is; more expensive does not necessarily mean a better reading. That being said, you can get a spiritual reading for $30 and have a good reading just as a reading that would cost you $200.

There are a few reasons why prices may vary between spiritual readers:
-  Spiritual mediums, psychics etc. that make a living of their gift will likely charge you more than others, because they do it full time.
-  Spiritual mediums, psychics etc. that are not expensive are often cheaper because they don’t do it full time.
- Also, spiritual reading prices may vary based on mediums, psychics etc. reputations and reviews.

When you look for the best deals for products, you should do the same when you search for a spiritual reading such as their reputations, reviews, and recommendations. If you feel that the mediums, psychics etc.. meet your criteria then the price will be right and meant to be.

It is important to understand that true mediums, psychics etc. are not fortunetellers. Fortunetellers will tell you what you want and expect to hear. True mediums, psychics etc will offer suggestions and advices to guide you but you HAVE THE POWER OF FREE WILL, in short ALL DECISIONS ARE YOUR OWN.

Have a good spiritual reading

What are sticky threads?

‘Sticky’ threads are created by moderators or administrators, and remain ‘stuck’ to the top of the listing, even if they haven’t had any posts recently. Their purpose is to keep important information visible and accessible at all times.

How do I register?

Note that once you registered and logged in, you will be able to post in the Forums and Blog.

You register by clicking on the Register link.

You will be asked to choose a user name, password and enter a valid email address. In addition there will be some other fields to which you will be invited to respond. Some will be mandatory while others are optional. Once this is complete, you will have to click on a link in an ‘activation email’ sent to your email address. Once you have done this you will be registered.

Note that entering your email address will not leave you open to ‘spam’, as you can choose to hide it from other board users. You’ll probably be able to allow other registered users to contact you via email, but the system won’t display your email address to them unless you give permission.

If you are under the age of 13, please Please Contact US as you are required to have a parent or guardian to provide consent before allowing you to complete the registration process.

How to add a Gravatar profile pic to your i-Spirit.ca comments?

Note that the Gravatar you will create along with your email address will  display on your Blog and Forums comments.

i-Spirit.ca is using the cross-site Gravatar system in our comments and though it does take a few steps to set up, they’re simple and painless :)

Gravatar stands for Globally Recognized AVATar and it basically associates a profile picture with your email address and then any time you post a comment on a supporting site, it automagically adds your Gravatar.

If you’ve already got a Gravatar, just make sure to use the email address associated with your Gravatar account when you post a comment. If you don’t yet have a Gravatar, here’s how to get one:

Create a new account:

- Go to http://www.gravatar.com
- Click on Get your Gavatar today, middle right

- Click on sign up for free (link above the Email or Username field)

- Enter your Email Address and click the Signup button

- Check your email for a confirmation message
- Click the link in the confirmation message

Choose your username and profile pic:

Here is what you have to do once your email account has been confirmed.

- Choose a username. If the one you like is already taken, try a variation.
- Pick a password. (Don’t make it something simple, or the same as your username.
- Confirm your password and click Signup.

- When it complains you don’t have an image yet, click on the Add one by clicking here link.

- Choose where you want to get your image from, your computer, an internet link, your webcam, or a previous upload.

- Crop the picture to suit your tastes and click Done.
- Choose a rating for your Gravatar (note, i-Spirit.ca only accepts G rated Gravatars as we’re a family friendly site!).

- You are Done :)

Bonus tip: Add additional email addresses

If you use more than one email address, you can click the Add an email address link, enter another email address, and confirm it. That way all your comments get associated with your Gravatar.
