No great planning, simply action, nothing controlled, just going with the flow of the moment, the liberty of spontaneity. The ability to follow it, a blessing…
There is much in our earthly life that requires planning, constraints and incorporating the needs of others, that is an undeniable truth however, there will be opportunities to allow for flying by the seat of your pants, for spontaneity; that simple joy of just doing.
To me, spontaneity is a physical manifestation of listening to your inner voice, your intuition. An action taken with trust, with faith that it is the right thing to do, that all will work out as it should. We tend to hesitate, over-analyze when we are following our fear instincts, our ego-talk and it can feel most uncomfortable to “just do.” The scientific mindset calls for identification and planning things into nice neat little boxes….well, spontaneity breaks down those imposed walls and allows for serendipity…ah, another “S’ word.
Serendipity, those wondrous occurrences that allow for unexpected discoveries, meetings and epiphanies.
When we embrace our spiritually, we become open the voice of our soul, this wise and knowing part of our being, our sixth sense.
“We each have a sixth sense that is attended to the oneness dimension in life, providing a means for us to guide our lives in accord with our ideas” ~Henry Reed
Three very good words and concepts to introduce into one’s life and way of thinking.
